Children's Ministries
We have two primary kids ministries. Kidztown is our Sunday morning program and AWANA is our Wednesday evening program. Both programs offer Bible teaching and activities under the guidance of qualified adults who love God and children and have also undergone an application process and background check.
Sundays in
KidzTown
Sonshine Kidz: 3-5 year olds
KidzTown: K-5th grade
9:30 AM This time is dedicated to a large group lesson, singing, drama, snacks and some free play.
11:00 AM During this time, children are separated into smaller groups for age appropriate learning using crafts, games and a variety of other teaching tools.
Wednesdays at
AWANA
6:00-7:30 PM
September thru April
Cubbies: 3-4 year olds
Sparks: K-2nd grade
Truth-in-Training: 3rd-6th grade
AWANA programs help our kids to hide God's word in their hearts. They are challenged each week to learn a verse. They also enjoy a Bible lesson and group games.
Interested in Serving?
It takes many hands to do the work of children's ministry. There are opportunities for teachers and those who love music and drama. There are also many other behind the scenes opportunities, such as stage designers, sound technicians, snack providers and other helpers. We ask that all helpers be at least 12 years old and submit to a background check. Please contact the church office if you are interested in helping out.
